Delete your account
Last updated 1 Oct 2026
Draft. We are finalising this page before launch, so the wording may still change. Questions: hello@gymcord.io
You can delete your Gymcord account yourself, at any time, in the app or in the owner dashboard. This page explains how, what is deleted and what your gym keeps.
1.Delete it in the app
Open the Gymcord app, go to Profile and tap Delete account. Type DELETE and confirm.
If you don’t have a gym in the app yet, the Delete account link is on the Find your gym screen.
2.If you run a gym
Sign in to the owner dashboard at app.gymcord.io, open Settings › Account and use Delete account in the Danger zone. Remove your gym’s members first; your gym then closes.
3.What is deleted
- Your name and phone number, and for gym owners your email and password.
- Your gym memberships and any pending requests.
- The email, date of birth and gender a gym kept about you.
- Every signed-in session, on every device.
4.What is kept, and why
The payments and check-ins your gym recorded stay in the gym’s records, under “Deleted user”, because gyms must keep them for their accounts and for tax law. They are no longer linked to your name or number.
5.If you can’t open the app
Write to hello@gymcord.io from any address, with the phone number you signed up with. We confirm it is your number and delete the account within 30 days.
6.When it takes effect
Deleting in the app or the dashboard takes effect at once and can’t be undone. Signing in again with the same number later creates a new, empty account.
